Sister Carol's Perpetual Vows
University Sisters of Assumption From Ugbowo-Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria
With devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, this congregation of educated Nuns, founded in 1992, is committed to loving and helping students to grow in the Spirit of Christ.
“Stay with us Lord Jesus Now and Forever”, is their maxim, which reminds them daily of the active presence of God in their lives and the lives of the students they so love. As faithful servants of God and with “Love, Service, Faith and Zeal”, the Sisters provide Christian Educational Counseling services to alleviate students’ problems and hardships within Universities and higher education in Nigeria.
The apostolate is carried out through various dimensions of counseling, namely: Pastoral, Family and Psychosomatic Counseling, etc.
Sister Caroline Iwueke Usoa was sent to the U.S. to learn and grow their services here.
On September 14th, 2008 Sr. Carol’s Superior General, Rev. Sr. Mary Agatha Chinwe Ebewu, traveled from Nigeria for Sister Carol’s Perpetual Vows at St. Alberts' Church.
